AALBORG BOİLERS RE-START PROCEDURES

AALBORG BOİLERS RE-START PROCEDURES
Check that the water level in the oil fired boiler(s) is within the permitted limits and
that feed water pumps as well as water level control equipmentare operational.
Check that the valves are open for circulation pumps, exhaust gas boiler, and
differential pressure indicator switch.
Open the air valve and close the drain valve for the exhaust gas boiler.
Open the circulation outlet valve on the oil fired boiler(s).If the oil fired boiler(s)
is already pressurised and heated the valve must be opened very carefully in order
to avoid thermal stresses in the piping and pumps.
Fill the circulation system as far as possible with boiler water via outlet circulation
valve of the oil fired boiler(s).
Make sure that the circulation pumps are properly filled and vented.
Ensure that the impulse legs for the differential pressure indicator switch are
completely filled with water.
Open the circulation inlet valve on the oil fired boiler(s).If the oil fired boiler(s)
is already pressurised and heated the valve must be opened very carefully in order
to avoid thermal stresses in the piping and exhaust gas boiler. As soon as steam
blows out the air valve should be closed.
Throttle the outlet valve for circulation pump which should be set into operation
and then start the circulation pump.
In case of depressurised and cold oil fired boiler(s) carefully fill boiler water in the
forced circulation system and exhaust gas boiler until the system is completely
filled. As soon as water comes out the air valve should be closed.
In case of pressurised and heated oil fired boiler(s) carefully ciculate boiler water
through the forced circulation system and exhaust gas boiler until the system is
heated to approximately the same temperature as the boiler water.
Open the outlet valve for the operational circulation pump completely.
Engage the automatic stand-by position of the other circulation pump
